- Our certifications are ANAB-accredited and recognized by health departments across the US. That said, acceptance is ultimately determined by your state and local health authority — we recommend confirming any specific requirements with your local health department before booking.
- Yes. The Food Protection Manager certification we proctor is ANSI-CFP / ANAB accredited — the same accreditation ServSafe® holds. Legally, the two are equivalent Manager credentials. ServSafe® is a registered trademark of the National Restaurant Association; we are not affiliated with them.
- A laptop or desktop with a working webcam and microphone, a stable internet connection, a quiet private room, and a government-issued photo ID. A phone-only setup is not sufficient — a tablet or laptop is required.
- One free exam retake is included — two attempts for the price of one. There is nothing to schedule; you simply take the second attempt when you feel ready.

- The training is 100% online and video-based, so you watch the modules at your own pace on a computer, phone, or tablet. When you are ready, you open your remotely proctored exam link — no appointment, no test center — and you get your result on screen as soon as you submit.
- The Food Protection Manager certification is valid for 5 years. The Food Handler card is valid for 3 years. Some local jurisdictions set shorter renewal periods, so check with your health department.
- Reconnect using the same exam link. If the exam cannot be completed because of a technical problem, we reset your attempt at no charge — you do not lose your paid attempt or your free retake.
- No. That is the main advantage of this program: there is no scheduling and no test-center seat to wait for. Once you register, your video training and exam link are yours to use whenever you like, day or night.
- Your exam result appears on screen instantly when you submit. We then review and approve the attempt and email your ANAB-accredited certificate — usually the same day. If an inspector needs documentation sooner, call or text us.
