This policy explains what Coastal Food Safety Exams collects when you book an exam, why we collect it, and how long we keep it.

What we collect
When you submit the booking form we collect your name, email address, phone number, and exam language. When you call, text, or email us we keep that correspondence. Our website collects standard analytics data through Google Analytics 4, including pages viewed, referring source, approximate location derived from IP address, and device type.
Why we collect it
Contact details are used to issue your course access and exam link, deliver your certificate, and answer questions about your booking. Analytics data is used to understand which pages people use and to improve them. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with advertisers.
Exam records
The certification exam itself is administered through Always Food Safe, an ANAB-accredited certification provider. Exam responses, scores, exam recordings, and identity verification records are held by that provider under its own privacy terms and accreditation requirements. We receive your pass or fail result and your certificate.
Identity verification during the exam
Your proctor views your government-issued photo ID on camera to confirm your identity, and the exam is monitored by video for integrity. Recordings are retained by the certification provider for the period its accreditation requires. We do not store copies of your ID.
How long we keep booking data
Booking records are retained for three years so we can confirm certification dates, then deleted. You can ask us to delete your booking record sooner by emailing coastalfoodsafetyexams@gmail.com, unless a certification record must be retained by the accredited provider.
Cookies
We use cookies set by Google Analytics for measurement, and local browser storage to prevent duplicate form submissions. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the booking form still works.
Your requests
To access, correct, or delete information we hold about you, email coastalfoodsafetyexams@gmail.com or call 948-230-6077. We respond within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes we update the date at the top of this page.
